GOODWOOD COLLEGE HISTORY
Goodwood High School was established in 1941 in Epping Gardens, Cape Town. Over the past 70 years, the school's name changed several times. It first changed to Goodwood-Epping High School, then to Epping High School. When the town's name changed to Ruyterwacht, it became De Ruyter High School and finally Goodwood College.

OPERATION RESTORE PRIDE
Transformation of the Canal
Learners of Goodwood College will partner with RERA and the City of Cape Town, to paint the canal from Chelsea Street in Riverton to Paul Kruger Street in Ruyterwacht. Come to encourage them. Meet us on Chelsea Bridge

The special day when the grade 8 learners get handed thier school blazers and are allowed to wear them for the very first time. This year the event will be accompanied by the matric council announcement

We are glad to say that we had a matric pass rate of 97.6% in 2015, let's make it 100% this year.

STAFF MEMBER
This school is honoured to have four new staff members this year. We are sure that they are going fit right into the GK family.
ADDITION OF MORE SMART CLASSROOMS
Slowly but surely we are updating are classrooms, hoping to soon have ICT in all of them.
